Indeed, despite its modest volume, it concentrates abundant knowledge characterizing the extent of the scholar's knowledge, may Allah have mercy on him. It could be that a student (in theology) does not find in jurisprudence encyclopedias what this (small) manuscript contains as information. The theme of this epistle is (the type of) clothing that every man and woman must wear during the performance of prayer. The author demonstrated, with evidence, that the garment in question is not simply the one a man usually wears to cover his nudity ('Awra) outside of his prayers. Moreover, he indicated that it is about something else; it is a garment that would also cover the shoulders and this, out of respect for the prayer and respect for its sanctity and not because the shoulders are part of the intimate parts ('Awra) to be preserved from the gaze of others.
